This Privacy Policy describes how JungleGenie ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and retains information through the JungleGenie Partner App (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect: name, email address, and job title of users, and a JungleGenie Partner-assigned unique user ID, used for account creation and sign-in (email address is used only for the first login/verification and is not necessarily used as an ongoing login ID); company information and tax details (including GST or other applicable tax identification numbers) required for invoice generation; company bank account details, displayed to relevant parties to facilitate payments made outside the App; contact details of individuals for whom onsite reservations are created; purchase history, invoices, advance and refund vouchers, and rebilling records; profile photos (optional); in-app chat messages with reservation-holders; and records of account actions such as reservation creation, confirmation, cancellation, and rebilling, including who performed each action.
We use the information collected to: operate core reservation, ticketing, invoicing, rebilling, and payment-reporting functionality; verify identity and help prevent fraud (for example, blocking IP addresses or accounts flagged through OTP verification reports); manage user and organizational accounts; and comply with applicable tax, financial, and legal recordkeeping obligations. We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or automated personalization.
Because reservations made through the platform are managed through this App, certain information is visible to the relevant customer. This includes your company's name, relevant tax/invoice information where required for a reservation, bank details displayed to enable payment, and chat messages related to a specific reservation. This is considered a data sharing arrangement with the customer, even though the customer uses a separate app (JungleGenie Platform App) or JungleGenie Platform that we also operate.
We do not sell your personal or company information. We do not share your information with third-party advertisers. Information is shared only with the customer connected to a specific reservation, or with sub-contractors/sub-content accounts within your organization as configured by you, strictly to enable reservation, invoicing, and rebilling functionality.
Where the map editor feature is used to record a route (such as a trek path) for a place or content you manage, the recorded route coordinates are transmitted to and stored on our servers when actioned by the user as part of that location's map data, regardless of whether the route was recorded by walking with the device or coordinates entered manually where user could not be physically present on respective coordinates. Location used only for on-device map viewing and navigation is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
We retain your account and reservation-related information for as long as your account is active. Where required, certain data is retained even after account deletion, as described in following 'Account Deletion, Retained Data and Legal Exceptions' clauses.
Upon requesting account deletion, your account will be scheduled for deletion after a 30-day buffer period, during which it remains active and you may cancel the request at any time from the account deletion option on your user profile page on app. A confirmation email may be sent when the request is submitted, and an in-app notification may also be shown. After requesting deletion, you may undo the request only after a 24-hour period has passed; if you re-request deletion afterward, a new 30-day buffer period will begin from that re-request. After the buffer period ends, your profile and personal data will be deleted or anonymized, except for: the login ID (email address) attached to your JungleGenie Partner-assigned unique user ID, used for making internal changes (editing content details, your company's tax and bank details, ticket/reservation settings, etc.); records (update logs) of such internal changes, including your name at the time of the change; reservation records and the data supplied with them; invoices; reservation chat; and tax-related records, which may be retained as required by applicable regional law.
The JungleGenie Partner App may operate across multiple regions with different jurisdictions and laws. In accordance with applicable local jurisdictions and the regulatory or statutory requirements applicable to you or your organization, we may retain certain data even after your account and associated data deletion request, to comply with regional regulatory or statutory requirements. This retained data may include: your login ID / email address and associated JungleGenie Partner-assigned user ID used for making internal changes, update logs of such changes (including your name at the time), reservation records and associated data, invoices, reservation chat, and other tax-related records.
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for all data transmitted between the App and our servers. We do not process card or UPI transactions within the App — bank details you upload are displayed to relevant parties solely to facilitate payments made outside the App, and we only store payment records reported by you or the paying party (such as date, reference, and amount).
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, except where retention is required by law as described above. To exercise these rights, please contact us at contact@junglegenie.com, or for faster action use the in-app or web account deletion option.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The version number and last-updated date will be displayed with this policy. Material changes that affect how we use your personal information will be notified to you within the app.

If any term, clause, or provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction (or competent authority), such invalidity shall not affect the validity or operation of any other term, clause, or provision. Furthermore, the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable while preserving the original intent of the parties.

JungleGenie: Cambay Technology and Recreations LLP registered in India and operating under tradename JungleGenie platform: JungleGenie.com website or JungleGenie App JungleGenie Platform: JungleGenie.com website or JungleGenie App Reservation Platform: JungleGenie.com website or JungleGenie App JungleGenie Platform App: JungleGenie App App: JungleGenie Partner app partner app: JungleGenie Partner app partner: means business (or individual operating in capacity of business, e.g, a properitor) that have or in past had their listings(either owned, managed, authority to manage, has agreement or authority to resale, respective travel-content(s) listings which are made available for reservations or sale through the platform or has listed for information only) on platform via partner app or added on partner app. user: JungleGenie Partner App user platform user: JungleGenie.com website or JungleGenie App user consumer: user who visits platform and / or reserves travel-content directly through platform or onsite via partner user using partner app. partner consumer: user who reserves travel-content (available on partner app) onsite via partner user using partner app. platform consumer: user who visits platform and / or reserves travel-content (available on platform) directly through platform. platform reservation: reservation added/made on platform by platform user onsite reservation: reservation added/made on partner app by partner app user reservation management: app functionalities that include (but may expand to more over time) adding and editing travel-content(s) (to add / manage tickets/reservation settings in it) and adding bank details to show platform users for platform reservation or visitors for onsite reservation to get payment, ticket / reservation settings itself, availability management to make travel-content available for reservation on platform and partner app, booking form creation on ticket / reservation settings with mandatory or optional fields and receiving, adding and managing inputs received respective to it on reservation, viewing reservations made on partner app / received from platform, make onsite reservations from partner app, save reservations offline for offline use, make offline onsite reservation and upload it to server from partner app, scanning reservation from reservation qr shown by vistor for reservation made from platform or partner app, adding / receiving / managing early check-ins on reservations, allocating reservation to users, logging visitor entry, initiating or responding to reservation chat on reservation made by platform user complimentary functionalities: app functionalities other then reservation management which include (but may expand to more over time) invoice and advance/refund voucher issuance, tracking payment totals, csv downloads for reservations and income and tax related table exports, rebilling reservation to sub-contractors (partner app users that can be rebilled) or sub-content who provided full / partial service required as per reservation and management of rebilling and managing internal invoices arising from rebilling which includes reporting or recording payments made on internal invoices, adding bank details to show partner user to make or receive payment for internal invoices, adding customer contact on onsite reservation and generating link that can be shared for viewing onsite reservation on platform, maps, map editor and navigation.
JungleGenie Platform is a technology platform that facilitates discovery and reservation of places, stays, adventure activities, tours, expeditions, and related services offered by independent third-party property owners, operators, organizers, and service providers (“Partners”). Unless explicitly stated otherwise, JungleGenie does not own, operate, manage, control, or directly provide the listed accommodations, activities, transport services, or experiences available on the platform. Reservations made through JungleGenie Platform are fulfilled by the respective Partner and remain subject to that Partner’s own policies, rules, operational conditions, refund terms, safety requirements, and applicable laws.
JungleGenie Partner app is a technology app that primarily facilitates (and charges fixed fees to partner or as platform fee on reservation) for reservation management tech, however, App may provide additional several other complimentary functionalities which are provided as is without warranty or guarantee on it and users must use data and its outputs after verifying at their own end. If any discrepancies are found, it must be dealt at partners or user end and they may choose to inform it to JungleGenie in order to get app fixed to try and help avoid future discrepancies. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, JungleGenie does not own, operate, manage, control, or directly provide the property, service or entity associated with listed travel-contents available on the partner app or platform, however, JungleGenie may list certain places, local trek or food outlets for information, search and navigation purpose which aren't reservable and / or without any sale options and it does not mean JungleGenie own, operate, manage, control, or directly provide the property, service or entity associated behing such listed travel-contents or any actual organisation or regions with similar names nor does it claim to have written permissions from relevant authority behind such places, local trek or food outlets as these would merely be for information, search and navigation purposes only.
Reservations made through platform are to be fulfilled or necessary actions taken by the respective partner in time subject to that Partner’s own policies and rules as disclosed cleanly and visible on platform, operational conditions, refund terms, safety requirements, and applicable laws to prevent discomfort to and dispute with platform consumer.
Onsite reservations made through partner app are completely partner and respective partner users' responsibility including any issues, dispute, litigation or damages arising from it and relating your own policies, rules, operational conditions, refund terms, safety requirements, applicable laws and JungleGenie shall in no way be responsible or included in such proceeding or events. To note, onsite reservations are available for online view only when user adds a contact for online view of respective reservation and directly or indirectly shares with concerning customer for whome respective reservation was made and such view would open on platform with provided unique link but this still must not make JungleGenie in legally liable or responsible towards such onsite reservation. Additionally, it is partner and respective partner user's responsibility to ensure contact being added on onsite reservation for online view and link being shared is actually for respective customer and has conscent from respective customer for the same too, in an event if there is an error in adding contact or sending onsite reservation link to incorrect customer or using contact without conscent for the same, it shall be solely and wholly partner and partner user's responsibility and again, JungleGenie shall not be legally liable or responsible towards such incident nor be included in dispute, litigation or damages arising from the same.
Your name, profile image, and certain account-related information may be visible to platform users, fellow partner users, staff members, or other users where relevant to the reservation or service. You are responsible for ensuring that any information or image uploaded by you complies with applicable laws and does not infringe the rights of others.
Any gender-related icons, labels, or visual indicators displayed on the platform are intended solely for user interface and convenience purposes and may occasionally contain inaccuracies or limitations. JungleGenie does not discriminate on the basis of gender identity, expression, orientation, race, religion, caste, ethnicity, disability, appearance, nationality, or similar protected characteristics. However, certain jurisdictions, Partners, or local laws may impose restrictions or operational practices beyond JungleGenie’s control. JungleGenie shall not be responsible for independent actions, legal compliance obligations, or discriminatory conduct carried out by third-party Partners.
All reservation availability, pricing, descriptions, facilities, maps, schedules, and related information are managed and supplied by respective Partners. JungleGenie does not guarantee: * uninterrupted availability, * accuracy of Partner-provided information, * suitability of services, * continuous operation of facilities, * or successful fulfillment of reservations by Partners. Prices, taxes, fees, discounts, and availability may change without prior notice until a reservation is confirmed. Minor rounding differences may occur in invoices, payment summaries, refunds, taxes, or displayed totals due to currency conversion, decimal rounding, or calculation limitations.
Partial cancellations, quantity reductions, date changes, or reservation modifications may be recalculated proportionately based on: * the original booking value, * Partner pricing structures, * revised availability, * current pricing, * discounts applied at the time of modification, * and the applicable refund policy. Refunds, where applicable, are generally calculated based on the cancelled portion of the original reservation and not based on subsequent price fluctuations. Refund eligibility and processing timelines are determined by the applicable Partner’s refund policy unless otherwise explicitly stated.
Refund eligibility, cancellation windows, and related conditions may depend on the overall reservation period rather than individual ticket dates or usage periods. Certain bookings may be non-refundable, partially refundable, or subject to cancellation fees imposed by the respective Partner, however, when full or partial cancellation of platform reservation initiated from partner's or partner user's end due to issues or limitations at partner's end, it is expected to be reasonable in charging cancellation charge or waive off completely and if platform user raises concern, issue, dispute, litigation or request for reimbursement on damages, it shall be dealt by respective partner and partner user and JungleGenie must only be incolved when absolutely necessary and must be made best attempts to limit JungleGenie's role in such proceedings to information support only.
JungleGenie shall not be liable for injuries, losses, damages, accidents, delays, evacuation failures, rescue limitations, or medical expenses arising towards platform users or customers with onsite reservation from activities operated by independent Partners and if required by law, partner must come forward to own responsibility in such cases and cooperate with local / regional authorities.
Certain Partners may require visitors or participants to: * sign waivers, * provide identification, * comply with safety requirements, * meet age or health restrictions, * or complete mandatory documentation prior to entry or participation. Failure to comply may result in denial of access, cancellation, or refusal of service, with refunds subject to the applicable Partner policy.
Maps, directions, coordinates, routes, and navigation information displayed on JungleGenie may be supplied by Partners or partner users or third-party providers and may contain inaccuracies. Users must independently assess terrain conditions, weather, accessibility, safety, local advisories, and surrounding circumstances before proceeding to any destination. JungleGenie shall not be responsible for accidents, injuries, losses, delays, or damages resulting from navigation, terrain conditions, inaccessible routes, or inaccurate mapping information. As far as map editor is concerned, partner users are required to ensure they are not adding or considering map / coordinates of private or third party owned land if they are unwilling to be shown as a part of respective map. And dispute or legal proceedings respective to it must be owned by respective partner or partner user themselves or remove disputed parts when requested.
Messaging and chat features are provided solely for convenience and operational communication. Users should avoid sharing: * sensitive personal information, * banking credentials, * passwords, * confidential documents, * or highly private data through chats. Payments made outside JungleGenie partners’ official payment information (provided via make payment button or relative popup on reservation viewer page or in future, supported payment systems as well), including direct transfers based on information shared in chats, shall be requested or made entirely at the user’s own risk and any dispute, litigation, legal proceedings or damages arising from it must be responsibility of respective partner and partner user.
Users and other partner staff must behave respectfully toward: * customers, * consumers, * accompanied visitors, * fellow staff members, * guides, * local communities, * fellow travelers, * and property personnel. Harassment, abuse, threats, violence, discrimination, illegal conduct, property damage, intoxicated misconduct, or dangerous behavior may result in legal action by the affected consumer or authority and shall be responsibility of respective partner and partner user only.
JungleGenie supports fair treatment and equal opportunity. However, certain activities or facilities may impose lawful restrictions relating to: * age, * health, * physical ability, * safety requirements, * environmental protection, * or regulatory compliance. Partner and respective partner users must ensure such restrictions, where reasonably necessary for safety or legal compliance, cannot automatically be considered discriminatory and in an event of any dispute, litigation, legal proceedings or damages arising from it must be responsibility of respective partner and partner user.
Consumer users are independently responsible for: * honoring reservations, * supplying necessary documents, identification or sign waivers, * complete mandatory documentation prior to entry or participation, * complying with laws and safety requirements, * meet age or health restrictions, * handling or reporting taxes correctly (if any to be handled or reported at their end), * assessing their physical fitness, * evaluating risks, * carrying appropriate insurance, * following safety instructions, * complying with local laws, * using proper equipment where required, * and ensuring personal safety when partner or partner user may not be liable. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JungleGenie shall not be liable for: * platform user's misconduct, * inaccurate reservations, * cancellations, * accidents, * discrimination, * abuse, * criminal acts, * operational negligence, * or disputes arising between users and partners. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Where legally required, JungleGenie may cooperate with lawful investigations, regulatory authorities, or judicial proceedings and may provide information available in its records in accordance with applicable laws and privacy obligations. JungleGenie is not obligated to retain information beyond legally required retention periods or beyond its operational data policies.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JungleGenie’s aggregate liability arising from use of the platform and partner app shall be limited to the amount of service fees or commissions directly retained by JungleGenie for the specific reservation giving rise to the claim. JungleGenie shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of JungleGenie’s registered entity. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts determined under applicable law.
JungleGenie reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms become effective upon publication on the platform unless otherwise stated.
